In the Kitchen: Dinner #1
For the next month I will be sharing our dinner selections each evening. For what reason you ask? Simply because my husband asked me to do a [monthly] series on "dinner". Why? I don't know. However ~ blogging, cooking, baking, and taking pictures are all things I enjoy doing so this shouldn't be a hard task to accomplish.
- King Ranch Chicken (a wonderful tasting casserole that I'd never heard of until moving to central Texas)
- Green leaf lettuce & spinach salad (topped with homemade ranch dressing)
- Fresh fruit (whatever happened to be on hand)
- Best-ever chocolate cake (no frosting ~ we just don't care for it)
- Vanilla ice cream (drizzled with homemade chocolate syrup)
P.S. - Proportions in picture are bigger than actually served!

looks so yummy and I can't wait to see pictures of all your meals! Sounds like a great idea!
I started doing something like this awhile back to make a recipe book of just OUR recipes but we don't deviate much in our usual 15-20 favorite meals and after awhile there wasn't anything new to photograph. Every once in awhile we do have something new and my camera is out, I try to capture it ;)
I came from Amber's site to see who you are!
I enjoyed reading "your heart" under your profile. Your verse at the top has meant so much to me this year - realizing as I stay attached to The Vine - all I need, will flow from Him to me. Oh, how precious! Also, I thoroughly enjoy being in my kitchen! I would love to come back and visit more to see what you are serving! Do you share recipes? ~Blessings on your Tuesday!
@threejoys - Good Tuesday morning to you! Thanks for stopping by and feel free to come back and visit! Nothing I do in the kitchen is extraordinary or secret ~ let me know what you'd like to know and I'd be happy to share. I just haven't put recipes up for these latest posts because there really hasn't been a "reicpe" to follow - kind of a pinch of this or that - and what I happen to have on hand. Glad to hear from you and look forward to getting to know you better! Godspeed!
